THE EDDY
An eddy is an area created behind a rock or other obstructions in the water. This zone provides a space of rest, recovery and regrouping for a paddler.
THE EDDYLINE
The Eddyline provides a visual separation defining the main current moving downstream and the opposing current of the eddy water moving upstream. Crossing that Eddyline presents a challenge between you and the needed rest the Eddy provides. It requires a plan and strategic maneuvering but once in the Eddy it offers an area of recovery to prepare for your eventual re-entry into the main current.

Why do we call it “Eddyline Paddle”? Life is represented by the main current of the river. The Eddyline is often times the challenge or the barrier between the stresses of our life and a much-needed recovery period. Learning how to navigate that barrier, can be life changing.
